Aphasia
(uh*fay*zha)

Aphasia is a language change that can sometimes follow a stroke or traumatic brain injury. It can make it harder to talk, understand, read or write.

It does not affect someone's intelligence.

Support through
Community

We started as a group of young people with aphasia having lunch together - sharing, laughing and eating.

We enjoyed this so much that our friends at the Healing Heads Foundation decided to create a center for us to meet in and do more together than just share a meal.

Our dream is to have our own center, but for now, we are grateful for Cross Point Church in Nashville and FiftyForward in Doneleson for letting us share their space.

Come join us and help us create what we do.

Together, We Can Overcome Aphasia Challenges

Join our community and connect with others impacted by aphasia. Together, we can provide the support and encouragement needed to navigate the challenges of aphasia and work towards building a supportive and understanding community.

Where & When do we meet?

Join us for fun, laughter, learning, games, art and more!

Support Our Cause

Your contribution enables us to provide great activities in a welcoming environment. These funds will one day enable us to rent our own building.
